There are a lot of people who would love to have fitness equipment at home to make it easier to work out; in fact I was one of those people so I guess you can say I understand.
There is no quick easy way to get rid of the extra fat, that most of us don’t even notice creeping on as we get older.
At least not until we start trying to keep up with grandchildren, and that is when we start thinking that it would be great to have fitness equipment at home so we could be fit enough to keep up.
I Tried the Gym
The 20 something trainer at the local gym doesn’t understand how hard it is for the older person.
Many of the exercises we just can’t do, take stomach crunches for example, for many they are out of the question.
It is easier for many of the younger and more energetic, to get rid of the excess weight, but what about those of us who are older many of us do not feel comfortable in the gym so it would be better to have fitness equipment at home.
I Found Something That Works For Me
There is a way to workout and it is without a lot of expensive fitness equipment at home, it is easy and only seven minutes three days a week, over a ten day cycle.
I started on the 19th of March 2011 with a 500gram can of soup in each hand and following the 7 minute workout videos.
Working out for seven minutes every second day and not repeating the first exercise for ten days, I actually look forward to the next workout
With no fitness equipment at home except for dumbbells, I lost 2kgs in the first 20 days (that is 2 cycles) and trimmed down enough for others to notice and make comments by the 4th cycle
No Dieting
I have not been dieting as such only changing the way I eat, I snacked on nuts and dried fruits the very occasional block of dark chocolate, crackers and cheese and a biscuit with my cup of Tea of Coffee.
I have been eating a lot more salmon and tuna, often with either a salad or some pasta as well as small portions of meat and vegetables occasionally, the only real difference is that I am now having up to 5 snacks a day some days more some less and I am feeling better and have more energy.
