Do Not Take Your Phone

When you do take time to spend in nature, reduce your connection to the modern world. Turn off your cell phone and do not take your MP3 player with you. Technology will only distract you from the natural environment. You can still take your cell phone in case of emergency; just turn it off before you begin walking.

  5. G’day Rita,
That is what I call a perfect philosophy ! I’m blessed with living in the beautiful Tallebudgera environment where we regularly see wallabies, koalas, lizards, snakes and a huge variety of birdlife every day. Most mornings when I walk for an hour or so, I have a wonderful feeling of euphoria as the time passes. I hope others who are stressed take your advice.
    Cheers
